Gilbert Newton Hackett, Sr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away October 10, 2020 at the age of 82. He was born December 24, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Gilbert Leo & Jewel Viola (Ginn) Hackett. Gilbert was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He went to college to be a watch maker. Gilbert was a gunsmith and a machinist. He enjoyed watching Western TV shows and movies, and he loved Ronald Regan movies. Gilbert is survived by 4 children, Lory & husband, Daniel, Cathee, Gilbert and Sheri; 5 grandchildren, Robert, Daniel, Misty, Wade and Chase; 4 great-grandchildren, Connor, Garrett, Alizaia, and Lexey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert & Jewel Hackett; and his wife, Kathleen Hackett. No Services. Arrangements provided by the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
