George Eugene McCreight Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on June 11, 2022, at the age of 56. George was born in Oklahoma City on May 2, 1966, the son of George Eugene McCreight and Geneva Lou (Wadford) McCreight. Junior grew up in Moore and graduated from Moore High School. He had a rewarding career in the Construction industry as a Welder, and he also worked as a Carpenter and Bartender in the Oklahoma City area.
Junior had a kind, loving, giving heart and a zest for life. He battled Diabetes for most of his life, but he never let this slow him down. He was a fighter, right until the end. He was charismatic and friendly, the kind of guy who never met a stranger, and Junior loved talking to and meeting new people wherever he went. Junior also loved to make people laugh. Ever the jokester, he was ornery, and incredibly funny. He enjoyed being outdoors and had many hobbies that kept him active. You could often find Junior fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, or playing pool with his buddies. He also loved the OU Sooners, rarely missing a football game, and was a big fan of Blazers hockey as well. He liked watching scary movies and crime shows, especially NCIS, Criminal Minds, and Forensic Files.
Junior’s first love was always his family, and more than anything in life, he enjoyed spending time with those he loved. He was his family’s rock, and they were his absolute pride and joy. He loved getting together with those he loved, especially for birthday parties and around the holidays. Junior touched the hearts of many with his genuine and outgoing personality. He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his father, George McCreight of Oklahoma City, and his mother, Geneva McCreight of Nebraska; a son, George E. McCreight III (Tray) of Cushing, Oklahoma, and three daughters, Calista McCreight and husband Aleczander of Moore, Oklahoma, Courtney Davies and husband Paul, also of Moore, and Cheyenne McCreight of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren; one brother, Billy Ray Clouse and his wife, Lisa, and one sister, Sherry Gingrich and her husband, Gene; and many other loving extended family members and friends.
