Genie Jane Hawkins, beloved daughter, wife, mother, cousin, and aunt, passed away from this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the age of 35. Genie was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on November 15, 1988, to James K. Hawkins and Mary J. (Morgan) Hawkins.
From the time she was very young, Genie had a passion for the outdoors. Always looking for a good adventure, she loved being outside in the fresh air. Whether it was boating or fishing at the lake, 4-wheeling, or in her quieter moments, tending to her flower garden, Genie was always happiest when she was doing something outside. Her family was her ultimate pride and joy, and despite her adventurous nature, she loved being at home, where she could relax with the people she loved and spoil her menagerie of animals. Genie had two dogs, a cat, rabbits, and chickens, and personally ensured all the animals around the house had names.
As we reflect on Genie’s life, let us remember her for the beautiful moments she shared, the love she bestowed upon her family, and her unwavering commitment to the things that brought her joy. Her legacy will live on through the animals she adored, the adventures she shared, and the wonderful memories she created. Genie will forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of light. Though she has departed this earthly realm, Genie Jane Hawkins’ loving spirit will be forever imprinted in our hearts. May she find eternal joy and peace in her new journey beyond. She will be very deeply missed.
Preceding her in death are her father, James Hawkins, her grandmother, Betty Morgan, and her uncle, Tom Morgan.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Daniel; two children, Morgan and Madi Moles, her mother, Mary Hawkins, and her sister, Jamie Lancour and husband Zack. Genie is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins by the dozen, including Stacy Sarff, Jenni Shuman, Jill Waller, Billy Sarff, Macey Stewart, and Mack Morgan, along with her dogs Stud, and Little, and her kitty, Boy Cat, and many more loving family and friends.
