Francisco Salazar Esquivel

Francisco Salazar Esquivel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the age of 73. Francisco was born on May 29, 1949, the son of Enrique Salazar and María Dolores Esquivel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Dolores, and three brothers, Enrique Salazar, Mario Salazar, and Saul Salazar.

Francisco was always one to find something to keep his strong hands occupied. If something needed fixing, he’d find a way to fix it. He inherited his mother’s green thumb and enjoyed gardening. He could occasionally be found taking it easy, watching an old western movie. More than anything, he loved being with his family. Francisco will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, María Manuela Vital Dominguez; four children, Herman Salazar, Erika Salazar, Tony Salazar, and Laura Salazar; nine brothers and sisters, Magdalena Salazar, Agustin Salazar, María Dolores Salazar, Manuela Salazar, Román Salazar, Lucina Salazar, Horacio Salazar, Ariel Salazar, and Ofelia Salazar; as well as one grandchild, Erik Ranjel, and many more loving family and friends.

Francisco siempre encontraba algo para mantener sus manos fuertes ocupadas. Si algo necesitaba arreglo, el encontraba la manera de arreglarlo. Heredó el pulgar verde de su madre y disfrutaba de la jardinería. De vez en cuando se lo podía encontrar tomándose las cosas con calma, viendo una vieja película del oeste. Más que nada, le encantaba estar con su familia. Francisco será profundamente extrañado por todos aquellos que lo conocieron y lo amaron.

Quedan para apreciar su memoria su esposa, María Manuela Vital Domínguez; cuatro hijos, Herman Salazar, Erika Salazar, Tony Salazar y Laura Salazar; nueve hermanos y hermanas, Magdalena Salazar, Agustín Salazar, María Dolores Salazar, Manuela Salazar, Román Salazar, Lucina Salazar, Horacio Salazar, Ariel Salazar y Ofelia Salazar; así como un nieto, Erik Ranjel, y muchos más familiares y amigos queridos.
