Eunice Marie Morgan

Eunice Marie Morgan was born October 18, 1922, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert and Ersley Humphrey. Eunice passed away from this life on June 10, 2022, at the age of 99 years, 7 months, and 22 days.

Eunice had a rewarding career with the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, retiring in 1987 after 30 years of dedicated service. Her faith in God was very important to her throughout her life. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in McAlester Howard Memorial Baptist Church in Del City, and most recently, the Eastern Avenue Church in Moore until its dissolution around the year 2017. Following that, she attended Southgate Baptist as often as her health allowed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ersley Humphrey; her husband, Ellis Ray Morgan; two children, son Robert “Bobby” Hershel Morgan, and daughter Sara Elizabeth Morgan, a stepson, Dale Morgan, and her sister, Betty Boatman.

Left behind to treasure her memory are her stepson, Max Morgan and his wife Barbara of Ardmore, Oklahoma, two nephews, Harold Boatman and his wife Linda of Mesquite, Texas, Howard Boatman and his wife Judy, of Moore, Oklahoma, two great-nephews, Steven Boatman of Oklahoma City, and John Boatman of Moore, Oklahoma.
