Eloise Clara Jones, age 91 of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023. She was born March 11, 1932, at home in Ellinwood, Kansas. Eloise was the daughter of Harry and Clara (Koch) Bryant. She attended grade school in Ellinwood and graduated high school in Hutchinson, Kansas.
On January 25, 1953, she married Cleo Revell Jr. and their union produced three sons: Darrell, Michael, and Ron. Cleo passed away in 2004. On June 7, 1974, Eloise married Bobby Jones, who preceded her in death in 1998. Eloise worked at Pope Construction Company as an Administrative Assistant until the age of 87.
Throughout her life, she was always involved with her church. Starting at St. John’s Lutheran church in Ellinwood, to St. John’s Lutheran church in Moore, Oklahoma, Eloise served for many years on the board at Concordia Lutheran Ministries and as LWML President, along with many other positions of service to the Lord.
Eloise loved her roses, reading, sports, and playing cards. She was a devoted fan of the Kansas Jayhawks and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Eloise was a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and friend to all. She influenced many with her hardworking attitude and loving and caring spirit. Eloise touched the lives of many, and she will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Harry and Clara Bryant, her first husband, Cleo Revell Jr., her second husband, Bobby Jones, her eldest son, Darrell Revell, a daughter-in-law, Michelle Revell, one stepdaughter, Cynthia Willett, and her sister, Elinor Bryant Hiss.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Michael Revell and his wife, Janet, and Ron Revell and his wife, Carol; her stepdaughter, Leann Threlkeld; four grandchildren, Heather (Revell) Stout and husband Micha, Randee (Revell) Gitomer and husband Evan, Tyson Revell and wife Katie, and John Revell and wife Hannah; eleven great-grandchildren, Preston, Max, Ben, William, Claire, Jane, Ethan, Chad, Nicholas, Marcus and Aimee; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
