We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home and Chapel
Doyle Gothard entered this life on October 15, 1956, and passed on June 12, 2022, but it was the time in between that was as unique as he was, and we want to remember such a life.
He loved all sports, and his favorite team was the Texas Rangers. He enjoyed his social life and liked playing pool at the Twilight Club and Blue Bayou, always loving to visit with Joyce and Pam, his favorite bartenders. He loved talking to people, and he loved to cook, known for his grilling, delicious bread pudding, and custom tea.
He is survived by his soulmate, Barbara, his beloved pets, a.k.a. his kids, his daughter, Tamiko, her 6 children, 14 great-grandchildren, his siblings, Barbara’s daughter, Misty, her three sons, and 6 bonus great grandkids.
We will celebrate his life at John M. Ireland Funeral Home on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 2:00pm. Doyle was a casual person, so please dress casually. Thank you to the Mercy ICU and Hospice team.
