Doy Keith Musick, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away October 11, 2020 at the age of 86. He was born November 10, 1933 in Parnell, Missouri, to Harry & Viola (Miller) Musick. Doy attended high school in Parnell, Missouri. He heard his country’s call and served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany as a machinist. Doy received an Honorable Discharge for services rendered to his country when called upon to do so. Following his military service, he was a wheat farmer for 30 years, and farmed 3,200 acres and received several awards for The Highest Protein in Wheat as well as raising sunflowers. Doy enjoyed gardening and making stained glass, such as lamps, doors and windows. He also enjoyed woodworking and he would make beautiful tables and furniture out of wine barrels. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling. He traveled to Fiji, Alaska and Australia. He loved Australia and went to worked the wheat fields on a farm there. He enjoyed watching baseball and the old westerns, especially Gunsmoke. Doy was a kind and loving person with a humble heart. He was a wonderful story-teller and loved visiting with friends and family. His first loved was spending time with family. Doy is survived by 1 sister, Patty McVey & husband, Ron, of Moore, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Leroy Musick, of Louistown, Montana, and Tyrone Musick, of Denton, Montana; 1 son, Lon Musick, of Florida; 1 daughter, Edy Homan, of Sheridan, Wyoming; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Viola Musick; his wife, Mary Musick; 2 brothers, John and Drexel Musick. No services will be held. Arrangements provided by the John M.
