Douglas Eric Carter

Douglas Eric Carter of Norman was born on May 23, 1968, to Billy Jean Carter and Harvetta Marie Carter (Hill).  On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Douglas passed away at the age of 53 years old.

Douglas worked for the last few years as a warehouse manager.  In his spare time, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a loyal OU football fan, and he really enjoyed painting.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Deonna Carter; mother, Harvetta Carter; father, Billy Carter; brother, Jeffery Carter; sister, Christi Herrod; kids, Emily Clawson, McKenzie Clawson, and Logan Clawson; and grandkids, Kennedy White and TJ Hill.

Visitation will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, 120 South Broadway, Moore, Oklahoma.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 23, 2021, at IOOF Cemetery, Norman, Oklahoma.
