Obituary
Donald Wayne Burkey was born on May 30, 1947, to Daniel and Irene Burkey in Wichita, Kansas. On Monday, May 15, 2023, Donald passed away from this life at the age of 75.
For many years, Donald worked for Tuttle Grain & Supply, retiring from the feed store in 2015. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time playing games on his computer, and he was a huge fan of watching game shows on TV. Most of all, Donald enjoyed quality time with his family. He was a loving husband and father, and a wonderful son, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be very dearly missed.
Donald is preceded in death by his mother, Irene (Litchford) Burkey, his father, Daniel Burkey, a brother, Daniel Burkey, and a sister, Mary Paige.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ruby Burkey, two daughters, Sheila Jones and son-in-law Tony, and Anitra Burkey, two grandchildren, John Jones and Tyler Jones, and many more loving family members and friends.
