Don James Bagnaro of Oklahoma, passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 65 years old. Don was bornin in Oklahoma City to Tony and Rose Marie Bagnaro on June 30th, 1956.
A man of many talents, Don was a natural athlete and enjoyed playing many sports, especially Soccer. He also played the piano and guitar and had an exceptional singing voice. He was known for his great smile, charming manner, an onery sense of humor, and being quite the ladies’ man. He suffered a stroke at the age of 28 but kept up his interest in sports through his favorite teams, The OU Sooners, Notre Dame, The Dallas Cowboys, and his favorite WWE wrestlers. He extended his passion for competition by watching his favorite game shows like the Price is Right, often yelling at the TV when contestants made the wrong choices.
Don was most definitely a “family man”, being part of a large Italian/Irish family. He loved attending family events with all the family and with lots of food, which included his Grandmother Kenney’s Salisbury steak and his dad’s red (Spaghetti) sauce. After his stroke he created his own “colorful” language when he had trouble communicating, which got a laugh from him and the rest of the family.
We are all so grateful and thankful for the loving care that Don’s sister Toni provided to Don over the years. Don experienced a full life because of it.
Don’s warm, loving heart touched the lives of many people throughout his life. He will be deeply and forever missed by all those who knew and loved him. If you told Don you loved him, he would say “I love you… Always!!”
