Diana Lee Kirts

Diana Lee Kirts, of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on September 7, 2023, at the age of 64.  She was born on February 20, 1959, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Jack Travis & Wanda Lee (Hayden) Dempsey. 

Diana retired from Tinker Air Force Base, having worked as a logistics manager for the KC135.  She was quite the social butterfly and loved laying out by the pool and spending time with her family and friends.  She was an amazing woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Diana leaves to cherish her memory, 2 sons, Kyle Kirts and Kenny Kirts; her sister, Mary Yerby & husband, John; nephews, Jason Hammonds, and Jeff Hammonds & wife, Janelle; and her Bestie, LaDonna Heintzelman; and a host of other family members and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack & Wanda Dempsey; sister, Betty “Susie” Hammonds; and brother-in-law, Reg Hammonds. 

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
