Dean Niles Obituary

Dean Randall Niles, 56, of Moore Oklahoma, entered into the kingdom of Heaven on May 8th, 2021. He was born on November 24th, 1964 to Penni Elissa Niles and David Ellis Niles. Dean is survived by his mother, Penni Hagan (nee’ Power), stepfather Richard Hagan, stepmother Elizabeth Niles, daughter Kynli Niles, son Marshall Niles, stepsons Jeremy and Adam Stewart, siblings Brandy, Shaun, Patrick, Heather, and Laney, his Uncle Jerry Niles, Uncle Mike Hogan, and many nieces, nephews, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father David Niles, Uncle Derrold “Sonny” Niles, grandparents Ruby and Derrold Niles, Aunt Helen Niles, Aunt Carol Niles, cousin Michael Niles, cousin Scott Schulz, grandparents Thelma and William Power, his Uncle Richard Power, grandparents Oletta and Quint Hagan, and Aunt Deborah Hagan-Hogan, We can only imagine the celebration in Heaven that occurred with them all early Saturday morning!

Dean graduated from Los Fresnos High School, Los Fresnos, Tx in 1983. He moved back to Oklahoma shortly thereafter and eventually followed in his Dado’s footsteps by working at Tinker Air Force Base for several years. He left Tinker and worked in the aerospace industry where he enjoyed many years of traveling around the country. His final years were spent working in the auto parts business for NAPA, just like his Uncle Jerry. Due to injuries received on the job, he was forced to resign in 2018.

Anyone who knew Dean knew that he loved his kids, football, and his Savior Jesus Christ! He loved to learn and spent hours pouring over books, videos, and the internet. He loved to cook and is famous for his chicken noodle soup, beer bread, and his secret mashed potato recipe, just to name a few. Dean enjoyed all sports but football held a special place in his heart. He often reminiscenced about his high school football years with his team the Los Fresnos Falcons, Coach Wyatt, and all of his teammates. He loved to tell the story about how Russell Moses got glued to a toilet seat! Two of his greatest blessings were his daughter Kynli and son Marshall, and step sons Jeremy and Adam Stewart. He was so proud of their accomplishments in life. He talked about them to anyone who would listen! During the last few years, Dean spent a lot of time studying the Bible and sharing his faith with family members and friends. His favorite pastor of late was Chuck Missler.

His sisters had the honor of caring for him through his health challenges over the last 3 years. He will always be our Brochocho! He is loved by many and will be missed by all! Save a place for me little brother!
