David Krueger Obituary

David Lee Krueger of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, April 14, at the age of 71. Born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on September 6, 1952. He was the son of Edward Johnny Krueger and Violet Mae (Hunter) Krueger.

After graduating from Newcastle High School, he attended OCU and graduated with a master’s degree. He worked at AT&T for many years, eventually leaving there to start his own business. He loved working on his acreage and his home, which he built from scratch. For several years he had a Christmas tree farm that he planted and maintained. He also raised miniature horses that he loved and enjoyed.

David did volunteer work and was ringing the bell for Salvation Army many times during the Christmas holidays. Christmas was always a very special time for him. He was always gathering and delivering packages and playing Santa to the nieces and nephews.

David loved and was loved by all of his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Jimmy Pitts, Michael Krueger, and Norvell Krueger; brothers-in-law Don McKay, and Jerry Davison; and sisters-in-law Carol Pitts, and Janice Krueger.

David is survived by his siblings and their spouses, John and Bonnie Krueger, Valera McKay, Helen and Dave Davison, Ronald Krueger, Hope Davison, and Dean and Linda Krueger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Chad and Cheryl Krueger, both of whom were by his side, helping him until the very end.
