David was born on October 21, 1942 to George and Maxine Fagin. He grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Northwest Classen High School and later the University of Oklahoma and Central State University. David spent his career as stockbroker working for several firms in the Oklahoma City area, ultimately retiring from Morgan Stanley. He loved golf and OU football as much as he loved rescuing and spoiling stray animals. He lived life with a generous heart and treated so many as if they were his own children.
David is survived by his wife Danetta; children Felicia and her partner Jamison Kerns, Todd and his wife Traci Quick, and Andrea and her husband Joe McNulty; grandchildren Zackary and Dylan Barnett and Eleanor Fagin; great grandchildren Hunter, Nolan, and Greyson; his younger brother, Ronald Fagin of San Jose, CA; and numerous cousins.
