Dannille Nicole Holtberg of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was called Home to Heaven on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the age of 48. She was born on August 22, 1975, the daughter of Karl Andrew Holtberg and Rhea Denise (Ringer) Holtberg.
Dannille attended Putnam City North High School and graduated with the Class of 1993. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and loved Legos and was always building things with her Lego sets. Dannille enjoyed listening to music and dancing and loved playing games on her tablet. She was also a great joke-teller. She liked watching the Oklahoma City Thunder, and she loved watching cooking shows, Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, America’s Got Talent, American Ninja Warrior, and Alone. Dannille loved going to Whataburger and enjoyed the drinks at Sonic. She also absolutely loved going to Cactus Jack’s to play the arcade games.
Dannille was bubbly, sweet, caring, and so funny. She was incredibly kind, loving, and giving with a strong faith in God. Dannille was very involved in her church and enjoyed helping out with the various events and activities. Her first love was her Lord and Savior and being with her family and friends, especially her best friend, Anita Kay. Dannille was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She touched the hearts of many with her zest for life, her love for others, and her Christian faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Dannille is preceded in death by her father, Karl Holtberg.
Left to treasure her memory are her mother, Denise Holtberg, and two sisters, Samantha Marckum and husband Mike, and Alisha Hawkins; nieces and nephews Alex, Brandon, Bellamie, Justus, Pudge, and Shae, as well as great-nephews Roman, and Ares. Dannille is also survived by her best friend, Anita Kay, and AK’s parents, Blake and Marilyn, her second family.
