Daniel LaVarnway, Jr. Obituary

Daniel Bernard LaVarnway, Jr., of Oklahoma City, passed away May 3, 2021, at the age of 66.  He was born August 20, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Daniel B. & Addie M. (Nichols) LaVarnway.  Daniel loved to work with computers and tech stuff, and he was great with numbers.  When he was young, he played the violin.  He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins.  Daniel loved going to church.  His first love was spending time with his family, especially his father.  Daniel is survived by his wife of 39 years, LaWanda LaVarnway; sister, Ellen Roberts & husband, Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel & Addie LaVarnway; and sister, Linda Shepard.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 7, 2021, at OKC Bethesda Church, located at 3101 SW 89th Street, in Oklahoma City.  Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, in Oklahoma City.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
