Dan Turner

Dan Turner, 91 of Oklahoma City, Ok passed away on April 22, 2021. He was born on May 24, 1929 in Stigler, Ok to Henry & Lena Turner.Dan served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Dan liked fishing, hunting and camping. He also loved watching old westerns on TV. Dan loved the Lord and was very active in Church Ministry. He spent most of his time with his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dan is survived by his 4 children, Greg Turner, Lloyd Kennedy, Daniel Turner and wife Stacy, Ann Kennedy; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Turner and wife Binh, Caleb Turner and wife Lacey, Jannea Pence and husband Dale, Rebecca Turner and Austin Turner; 7 great grandchildren, Ava Turner, Estelle Turner, Hannah Turner, Nate Turner, Maci Pence, River Pence and Kaius Turner; 1 brother, Mark Turner; 1 sister, Faye Wallace and husband Frank; A host of cousins, nieces, nephews and extended loving family. Dan is preceded in death by his wife Mary Turner; 7 siblings; parents, Henry & Lena Turner. Funeral services will be held at 2:oo PM, Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Southwest Church of Christ, 3031 SW 104th St. Oklahoma City, Ok. Interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Ok. Services are under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, Ok.
