Christopher Dailey Obituary

Christopher Sean Dailey, age 44, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, with his family by his side. Chris was born October 17, 1976 in Oklahoma City,  to Pat and Brenda Dailey.

 

He attended Norman Public Schools. Chris was an avid OU sports fan, especially Barry Switzer football and Billy Tubbs basketball. Chris began attending OU games when he was 3 years old and didn’t miss a home game for many years. He also was a big fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grand parents, H.B. Haynie and Betty Haynie; his Uncle Brent Haynie; his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Ida Mae Dailey; by his uncle Bill Dailey and uncle Bill FriedLander.

 

Chris is survived by his mother and father, by his sister, Sara Polston and brother-in-law Rod Polston; his sister, Tami Gordon and brother-in-law Greg Gordon. Chris is also survived by nieces Elly Gordon and Brooklyn Polston, and by nephew, Dax Polston, also uncle Tim Haynie, aunt Susan Keener and uncle Mike Keener; and by many cousins. Chris, you will be greatly missed and forever loved.  

 

Funeral will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Lynlee Mae Chapel, 507 E. Main St. Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Norman, Ok. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK.
