Charles Eugene Tiede III

Charles Eugene Tiede III passed away peacefully on April 24th 2024. After suffering a long term illness his family finds peace knowing he is with our Lord.
Charles "Charlie" was born September 9th 1960 in Oklahoma City, Ok where he was then adopted by Mary Ellen Tiede and husband Charles Tiede II. They resided in Lake Eufala and then moved to Midwest City, Ok where Charlie then went to Jarmen Jr. High. Charlie graduated in 1978 from Midwest City Highschool where he played track and football. He continued his education at Rose State Community college and Oklahoma State University. He married Jane Cole (Ligon) in 1982 and they were married for 28 years. Together they had two children: Charles "Chad" Tiede and Caitlyn "Caity" Mund. Charlie has one grandchild, Holland Mund.

Charlie worked as a golf course superintendent for 30+ years where he excelled in managerial skills and maintenance of greens. He was an extremely hard worker and great provider for his family.

Charlie enjoyed and excelled in many things. He loved riding his motorcycle, watching college basketball or OSU football especially with friends and family. His favorite things were spending time with friends and family, especially with his children and grandchild. He was a devoted and loving friend. He enjoyed several lifelong friendships that he always held close to his heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his two siblings: Catherine Schoelen and Jim Tiede.
