Carole Lynn Start

Carole Lynn Start, 71, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on March 1, 2023, at Integris Southwest Medical Center ICU. Carole was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma on May 18, 1951, to Rastus Start and Freda (Vail) Start. Carole grew up in Lindsay, Oklahoma and graduated from Lindsay Place High School. After graduation she worked and lived in the Moore/Norman area and retired from The University of Oklahoma. Carole loved watching country and western TV shows and spending time with family. She was also an active member of Life Church.

Carole is survived by her siblings; Ruby Aduddell, Pflugerville, TX, Bessie LeBlanc, Phoenix, AZ, Helen Prince, Norman, OK, Robert and Judy Start, Moore, OK, Goldie England, Midwest City, OK, Larry Start, Blanchard, OK, and Eddy and Tammy Start, Harrah, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Carole is preceded in death by her parents, Rastus and Freda Start, siblings, Ida Mae Heltcel, Mary Phillip, Ruth Rogers, Jimmy Start, and Floyd Start. She is also preceded in death by 5 brothers-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law, 3 nephews, and 1 niece.

The memorial service will be held at 10am, March 25, 2023, at the Lynlee Mae Chapel in Moore, OK.
