Carl Bilyeu Obituary

Carl Euing Bilyeu, age 76, was the son of Elmer Euing Bilyeu and Lillie Mae (Gunn) Bilyeu-Anderson. Born on October 12, 1944 in Gracemont, Oklahoma. He passed away on September 20, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He worked many professions such as road construction, newspaper routes, mechanics and welding. His favorite was working with live stock.  He and his wife Louisa (Marrs) Bilyeu of 58 years had five children together. He was a hardworking man that did all that he could to provide for his family.

Carl enjoyed watching any OU game, being around his family, and watching any old-time western movies. He was very proud of his family. He was their biggest supporter all of the time. If you said BOOMER he would say SOONER. He loved to watch OU football and softball. If he wasn’t trying to take a nap in the middle of the games. He watched the old western movies at least 20 times a piece, but if it starred John Wayne, he watched like he had never seen it before.

Carl is proceeded in death by his parents Elmer Bilyeu and Lillie (Gunn) Bilyeu Anderson. His three brothers, Donald Bilyeu, Dixie Anderson, and Kenneth Anderson, one son Phillip Andrew Bilyeu, son in-law Rick Pickens, and many others.

He is survived by five sisters Aleathea (Anderson) Richard, Edith (Bilyeu) Johnson, Karen (Anderson) Newton and husband Jerry, Barbara (Bilyeu) Murry- Goucher and husband Kenneth, Georgia (Anderson) Crha and husband Jerry. Four children Kim (Bilyeu) Barton and husband Tracy, Carleeta (Bilyeu) Nelson and husband Phillipe, Katy (Bilyeu) Pickens, and son Carl Donald Bilyeu, and the daughter he called his Patty Cummins.  Ten

Grandchildren Lyndsey (Nelson) Tinsley and husband Cody, Trevor Barton, Kameron Barton, Michaela Todd and husband Trevor, Blake Nelson and Wife Alexa, Jacquelyn (Nikki) Pickens, Chase Cummins, Jake Bilyeu, Jordan Bilyeu, and Annabel Cummins. Five great grandchildren that were the apple of his eye Sophia Barton, Brooks Tinsley, John (JET) Todd, Blakely Tinsley, and Porter Nelson. Many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. The list could go on and on because he loved everyone with his whole heart.
