Billy Pierce Obituary

Billy Ray Pierce passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 10, 2020 at the age of 56. He was born October 27, 1963 in Knoxville, Tennessee to James and Mary (James) Pierce. Billy worked at G + R Auto Parts for 17 years, and at many salvage yards. He enjoyed watching Erik and Allen play soccer, and enjoyed watching Jody ride his dirt bikes, Billy loved his grandkids Gavin and Madison, Billy also loved long walks with Binky, his furry son. His hobbies were working on cars, and fixing anything he could fix. Billy loved spending time with his family. You would always see him in his blue jeans and flip flops. He was very funny, goofy, outspoken, helpful, and easy-going person. He loved helping others, and could talk to you for hours. He also loved classic rock. His favorite movies were Jaws, Wizard of Oz, Forrest Gump, and Heavy Metal. When he would watch TV, he enjoyed watching shows like CSI, NCIS, Andy Griffith and many more. He enjoyed watching OU, Tennessee Volunteers, Dallas Cowboys, the US Men’s National Soccer team, and Premier league soccer. Billy liked to cook, he enjoyed making pork chops and potato salad. His favorite restaurants were Perry’s and Western Sizzlin. Billy knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Maria Pierce; children, Jody, Allen, and Erik Pierce; grandchildren, Gavin Pierce and Madison Mackenzie; sister, Cindy Pierce; brother, Jeffrey Pierce; and uncle, Fred Allen Pierce. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Pierce; grandmother, Edith Pierce; sister, Kathy Pierce; brother, Darryl Pierce; and aunt, Ruby Pierce.A visitation for Billy will be Friday, October 16, 2020, starting at 10:00 am and will end at 8:30 pm at John Ireland Funeral Home of Capitol Hill.

A funeral service will be on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:00 am at the same location.
