Betty Lou Leach of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the age of 90. Betty was born on May 26, 1933, to William S. and Louetta (Presson) Little. She grew up in May, Oklahoma, with her eight brothers and sisters. She attended high school in May, where she was a star on the basketball team.
Betty loved the Lord. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and was a longtime and faithful member of Brookwood Baptist Church and was also once a faithful and active member of the Woodward Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed quilting, and she loved the outdoors and liked to camp, especially cherishing the times in Colorado, surrounded by God’s glorious beauty. Most of all, Betty loved her family, and was loved immensely in return. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Louetta Little, her husband of 50 years, Robert L. Crooks, her son Robert Lynn Crooks, son-in-law Barry Wray, grandson Christopher Wray, her brothers, Ray, and Paul, and sisters Fanny, Fern, Audie, May, Reva, and Mamie.
Betty is survived by her husband of 19 years, David Leach; her children, daughter Kathy Wray, and son Steve Crooks and daughter-in-law Linda, and daughter-in-law Sharon Crooks; her grandchildren, Jerod Crooks, Lauren (Kenny) Coffin, Andrea (Scott) Maturey, Kurt (Sarah) Crooks, Kristi (Bryan) Champ, Stefani Crooks, Kent Endersby, Jaclyn (Drew) Farquhar, Brandon (Melissa) Wray; great-grandchildren Brook (Phillip) Wilcox, Ella Wray, Jagger and Olivia Coffin, Zachary and Alaina Maturey, Kyler, Kamrin, and Kalli Champ, Jack Farquhar, and Harlowe, Houston, and Hampton Crooks; along with one great-great-granddaughter, Ruby Maturey-Johnson, two stepdaughters, Lisa Henderson, and Tammy Jo Matlock, five step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
