Alex Garcia, age 26 of Oklahoma City, departed this world too soon on July 7, 2021. Alex was born in Oklahoma City on August 18, 1994 to Felipe Garcia-Marquez and Alma Leticia Garcia (Luna-Campos). Alex attended Capitol Hill High School, graduating with the class of 2012.
As a young man, Alex attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church where his Godmother, Nancy Garcia, participated in his first communion. During his high school career, he played on the football and baseball teams, and he proudly participated in the Junior ROTC program. After high school, Alex worked in the Oil Field and Construction industries.
Alex was known as a loving person with a kind and giving heart. He enjoyed talking to people of all walks of life, and he could easily make friends with anyone. Alex was thoughtful, generous, and charitable, and he very much enjoyed helping people in need. He loved his family, and he loved spending as much time with them as possible. He loved listening to music and hanging out with his friends and family whenever he had the opportunity. He loved basketball and was a huge OKC Thunder fan, and an even bigger fan of Russell Westbrook. He also loved watching OU football and was a big Sooners fan as well.
Alex touched the lives of many, many people with his kindness and genuine love, and he will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving parents, Felipe and Alma Garcia of Oklahoma City; one brother, Felipe Garcia Jr. of Oklahoma City; a sister, Leslie Marie Garcia, of the home; and the Godparents of his baptism, Susana and Gilberto Cisneros.
Visitation for Mr. Garcia will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Lynlee Mae Chapel located at 507 E. Main Street in Moore, Oklahoma.
Services for Mr. Garcia will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 14. 2021 at the Lynlee Mae Chapel in Moore.
