Albert Henry Porterfield

Albert Henry Porterfield passed away April 2, 2021 at the Oklahoma Baptist Hospital. He was born May 12, 1929 at Iuka, Arkansas to Alma and Leroy Porterfield. His growing up years were spent at Wideman, Arkansas where he met Joyce Mullin. They attended the one room school together. There was no running water and they had to just draw water from a cistern.  They used a gourd dipper for all of the students to drink from.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his and Joyce's two children; Ruth Ellen Nelson Robert Todd Porterfield.

Albert is survived by his wife, Joyce, of 68 years and by four grandchildren, Jason Jones, Jerrod Jones, Melissa Dudley, and Sydney Porterfield; and five great grandchildren
