Virginia Raymer Mullikin, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 21, 2018


Virginia was born in Ardmore, Ok to John Reed and Mildred Mobley Raymer.She was a mother, sister and a “Mee-Maw.” She was a lifetime member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.Virginia graduated from the Univ. of Central Ok with a B.S. and M.S. in Education and taught 28 years, retiring from Tinker Elementary in Mid-Del Schools.Virginia’s hobbies include reading, going to the lake in earlier years, and seeing her 2 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Harry E. “Nick” Nichols III, (Diane); grandson, Harry E. Nichols IV (Lorraine); 2 adorable great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emilie Nichols; sister, Geraldine Wade; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Anna Blair; former husbands, Harry E. Nichols Jr. and A.J. Mullikin.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home.

Virginia was a peaceful , loving person . She was my neighbor and friend for 30 years. She was always there for my family in our time of need . I know how much she adored her grandson and her great-granddaughters. I will be lost without Virginia to visit with. Heaven has a new angel.

It is with great sadness to hear of Virginia's passing. She was a kind and considerate friend and neighbor who will be greatly missed. I am so thankful we got to know her..
