Tina Marie Rikard Parrish “Mamaw" diedpeacefully on April 14, 2018 at 0243 a.m. in Oklahoma City, Oklahomaat the age of 60.

Tina will be remembered by her husband of 42 years, Mark Parrish, and their children Mark A. Parrish (Selena Hurt), Michael W. Parrish (Tiffany Parrish), and Christopher P. Parrish. Grandchildren, Haleigh, Haidyn, Ethan, Abel, Sidnee, and Lukas. Siblings William (Bill) Rikard of Sarah, Mississippi, David Rikard (Bobbie Jean) of Hernando, Mississippi, Robert (Bobby) Rikard (Cathy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Brenda Rikard Looney, of Southhaven, Mississippi. Tina is preceded in death by mother, Vernis Rikard of Memphis, Tennessee, Father Wesley Rikard of Hernando, Mississippi, and brother-in-law, James (Jimmy) Looney of Southhaven, Mississippi.

Tina was born on January 20th of 1958 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Wesley and Vernis Rikard. Tina graduated from Fairley High School in 1975. She married Mark W. Parrish,her high school sweetheart in 1975. After moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tina began working for Stuart C. Irby as an administrative assistant. Over a period of time, the couple welcomed three children into their home. Her children remember heras a strong, caring, and independent mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Tina was accomplished at arts and crafts and often restored antiquities she found at flea markets and thrift stores. She was a goofy/witty/dedicated individual who loved her family and who was passionate about raising strong young men. She was an active and dedicated member of Brookwood Baptist Church before she became ill.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday April, 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Brookwood Baptist Church located at S.W. 89th and Walker in OKC, OK. Viewing will begin Thursday, April 19th 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at John M. Ireland Funeral Home address 120 South Broadway Ave. Moore, Oklahoma 73160. Pastor Bryan Gilbert will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tina’s life.
