Sandy Kaye Southard, 6:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2017


Sandy Kaye Southard, of Oklahoma City, passed away August 11, 2017, at the age of 56. She was born February 20, 1961, in Pontiac, Michigan, to James Parlow and Bonnie Grass.

Sandy enjoyed baking cakes and was a wonderful cake decorator. She also enjoyed listening to music. Her first love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by 2 sons, Aaron Southard & wife, Brandi and Craig Southard & wife, Jennifer; 4 grandchildren, Isabella Kelley, Marlee Southard, Ian Southard & Alexa Southard. She is preceded in death by her father, James Parlow; her mother, Bonnie Parlow; and step-mother, Henretta Parlow.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2017, in the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.

She was a great coworker and I learned a lot from her. The funniest lady in town, I really did enjoy spending time with her. I miss so sorry for your loss.

Sandy has been a very dear friend of mine for years.....she was a wonderful and beautiful person inside and out....I will carry her close to my heart and will never forget our friendship....I wish her family peace at heart...she has mentioned several times to me in the past how much she loves her two sons and grand children....just by knowing Sandy..I know they made her proud and made her smile when she spoke of them....God bless u Sandy my Friend....Fly with the Angels....I will miss u dearly...
