Robert Samuel “Bob” Jarvis, of Harrah, Oklahoma was born July 12, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri and passed from this life on October 2, 2017, at the age of 61. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 6, 2017, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 S. Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma, with graveside services at Dale Cemetery and a Celebration of Life following services.

Bob is survived by his wife of 17 years, Roxanne Jarvis, of the home; 8 sons, Steven, Jeremiah, Chris, Josh, Bobby, Zack, Rusty, and Ryan; 3 daughters, Sarah, Hannah, and Tosha; 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Pam, Tyann, Dawn, and Robyn; 1 brother, Phil; mother-in-law, Helen Crain, he called “Mom”; 7 nieces; 2 nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Connie Jarvis; 1 sister, Rita Marie; 1 daughter, Beth; and father-in-law, Bill, whom he always called “Dad.”

Bob was a mechanic by trade, and he worked on cars for over 43 years. He loved his job and loved to work on cars. Bob loved to teach people how to work on cars. He loved to ride motorcycles and had Harleys. Bob loved children and he loved to play with his grandkids. He was an amazing cook and loved cooking. Bob was a comedian and he always made people laugh. Bob was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend. His employers and co-workers loved him. He was a hard worker and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His first love was spending time with his wife, family and friends.

My wife and I are so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We worked with him overseas in Iraq and were lucky enough to call him a friend. He was a good man that cared deeply for his family. He will be missed. RIP Bob.

To my brother, Bob ~ Spread your wings and fly ~ no more sorrow and pain. Be reunited with our mom, dad, grandpa and your daughter. While we cry tears of sadness because we have to let you go Home, we take solace in knowing you are at peace and in the Loving Arms of Jesus. Stay in our spirit ~ you are always in our hearts.
