Matthew Ryan Barnes, 10:00am, 1/26/2012

Matthew Ryan Barnes was born on October 22, 1989. He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep in the early hours on Sunday, January 22, 2012, and awoke in the arms of his loving Savior. Matthew attended Putnam City Schools his entire life and graduated from PCW last spring. He was recently living at the Center of Family Love in Okarche.

He is survived by his mother, Susan; grandmother, Betty Gilmore; aunt, Cheryl Dalby; uncle, John Dalby; cousins, Heath Dalby, Natalie Nault and husband Andrew; and his devoted companion “Bernice.” He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Duane Gilmore. Matthew was easy to love, his smile was contagious and he made friends everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.

Services will be Thursday, January 26, 2012, at 10 A.M. at Putnam City Baptist Church, with interment at Fairview Cemetery in Apache, OK, at 2:00 P.M., under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
