Marilyn Jean Williams, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017


Marilyn Jean Williams, 69 of OKC, passed away on Oct. 5, 2017. Marilyn was born on Mar. 14, 1948 in Lamar, OK to James and Velva Wagoner. She worked with her husband Kenneth at A Better Valve & Compressor for many years. Then went on to be a sales associate at Walmart in Norman. Her first love was her family. She was known as “Mema” by her grandkids and family. She faithfully watched programs from Jimmy Swaggart Ministries and loved watching OU football with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Williams; 2 daughters, Kena Dodd (Mark), and Tracie Dow (Shannon); 3 grandchildren, Brandon Williams (Jenna), Lacey Matthison (Michael), and Kylie Love; 1 great grandchild, Luke Mathison; sister, Billie Mowry and husband John, Wilene King and husband Loyd, Carolyn Scoggin and husband Mark and Peggy Turley and husband Jason and a host of loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Velma Wagoner; siblings, Nancy Conley, Charles McCoy, and Ronnie Wagner.

Funeral Services are 2:00PM, Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at Living Waters Lighthouse Church, 4500 SE 89th, Street, Oklahoma City. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00PM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 1:30PM to 9:00PM and Monday from 9:00AM to 9:00 PM at John Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK.
