Leslie Wayne Clifton, of Oklahoma City, passed away January 12, 2018, at the age of 41. He was born November 15, 1976, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Leslie enjoyed riding motorcycles, building stereo systems, camping and fishing. He loved animals and was an avid OU football fan. Leslie enjoyed car racing, building race cars and cars in general. He enjoyed martial arts, playing basketball and he enjoyed the ocean. Leslie enjoyed watching “Street Outlaws.” He grew up in Oklahoma City and Choctaw, and attended US Grant High School. Leslie was a plumber by trade, and he worked for George Patrick Plumbing and he also worked at Audiotronics. Leslie was very outgoing and he had a kind and loving heart with a deep soul. He loved people and never met a stranger. His mother said he would wave at anyone. Leslie fought a lot of health battles due to his diabetes, but he never gave up and always kept a positive attitude. His first love was his Lord and Savior, spending time with his children and socializing with family and friends.

Les received his angel wings and is survived by 1 son, Phoenix Clifton, of Arizona; 2 daughters, Taylor Clifton, of Oklahoma City, and Karsyn Clifton, of Oklahoma City; his mother, Peggy Clifton, of Oklahoma City; his father, David Clifton, of Midwest City; and his grandfather, Harold Banker, of Oklahoma City, sister, Toby; and brother, John; nephew, Brenton. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; 2 uncles; and 1 cousin.

Funeral Services for Leslie will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2018, in the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing a love one too soon is very devastating. Our heavenly Father is the "God of all comfort" and if you allow him to do so, he can and will help you through this difficult period because "he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7)
