Jerry Marshall Milburn, 73, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Gatesville, Texas, and lived most of his life in Moore, Oklahoma.

Jerry enjoyed fishing and cars. He enjoyed specialty automobiles and often drove them in parades. Jerry collected sports cars and he actually drove Governor Mary Fallin in the Red Ribbon Day Parade in his 1965 Red Cobra Convertible. He also enjoyed woodworking and creating things with is hands. Jerry was very mechanical. He enjoyed tearing projects apart and rebuilding them. Jerry was a big OU Sooners fan, and he and his son, John always watched the games together. He enjoyed car actions and car shows. When John was growing up, Jerry was always at his sporting events, as well as his grandsons – he was their number one fan. Jerry was employed at Moore Hospital, then Integris Southwest Medical Center, and retired from Moore Public Schools after 20 years of service. Jerry was also owner and operator of β€œAttention Advertising,” where he designed and constructed business signs. He was a very caring, compassionate and loving person with a kind heart. Jerry had a fun personality. His first love was being with his family and looking at sports cars.

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Jollene, and parents, Rev. O.M. and Leona Milburn. He is survived by his son John, daughter-in-law Stephanie, and grandsons, Jameson, Jackson and Jefferson, of Edmond, Oklahoma. He is also survived by two sisters, Jan Williams and Judy Blair.

Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2017, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 20, 2017, at 11:00 am, at John Ireland Funeral Home, with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park, 2301 E. Indian Hills Rd., in Norman, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.

Jan, Judy, John, Stephanie, Jameson,Jackson, Jefferson, and other family members, my prayers, thoughts, tears are with you. I know the you will miss him, remember how much he loved all.
