Harold C. Timmons was born on December 31, 1955 in Chicago, IL. He was the 7th of 7 children. He attended elementary and some high school in Chicago. He later enlisted in the Marines in 1972 and was honorably discharged in 1976. He had many occupations as a machinist in several paper mills. Harold loved coaching, music, and people “always down to have a good time”. He involved himself in programs aimed at providing guidance for our youth. He was one of the first, if not the founding voluntary member of the program in OKC “Walking with Vets”.


Harold is survived by 3 of his siblings, James Timmons (Stella), Ione Hill (Wesley), Alan Timmons (Angela), his wife Edith Timmons and 3 children, Son Chris, Daughter Tina Bryant, Son Shemal (Kamilah) and 7 grandchildren, Shavon Timmons, Marquis Timmons, Jihad Bryant, Armad Bryant, Carmen Timmons, and Nadia Timmons, and 1 great-grandson Asher Timmons. As well as many nieces, nephews, Aunt Artherine, cousins, and many, many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 10, 2018, in the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, OK.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
