Glenna Ruth Schafer, 11:00 am, Monday, April 23, 2018



Glenna passed away April 17th at the age of 62. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Shirley Barker and her sister Peggy Andrews. She is survived by her husband John Schafer, and her 4 children Amy Barker and her husband Tim Hardison, Shelly Smith and her husband Perry Smith, Lisa Fink and her husband Daniel Fink and her favorite Christopher Jones. She is also survived by three grandchildren Cameron Hardison, Sierra Sampson, and Savanna Smith. Glenna loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. Glenna was passionate and giving always trying to help the ones around her. She had a deep love for music that she instilled in each of her children that helped form the foundation of our lives. To all that knew her she loved and cherished you all. This world full of vibrant colors is a little darker today. She is Home. We love you mom.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 23, 2018 at John Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, OK.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.

Glenna's sweet spirit will certainly be missed by all. Her many Christian like attitudes were displayed in her life and work that will be her legacy of duration for family to cherish. Since the fifth grade Glenna has been my closest & dearest friend. I already miss our hours long conversations along with all the laughter that we shared. All my love, heart and prayers are with her family.
