Carl helped train me back in 1975-1976. He was a rock at the facility, firm fair and compassionate with the offenders. He made a valuable contribution to community corrections. We need more gentlemen like Carl in corrections. You have my sympathies in his "Promotion to Glory".

Dear Family, Gerry and I are so sorry we can't be there with ya'll. Think you all know this and why but I wanted to say it here. It is never ever easy to let a loved one go but I know he is resting in God loving embrace along with the family that were waiting for him. He was a devoted dutiful son, sweet brother, loving husband, great dad and special grandfather. Good friend and neighbor that will be missed immensely. Last night I was thinking of him and I swear I could hear him laugh. What a laugh !!! Hugs to you ALL. Baby Sister, Linda Bishop Vawter
