David was an avid OU Sooners football fan. He enjoyed drinking beer and watching football. David was a framer in the construction business.  He was a hard-working man and he enjoyed what he did.  He was a very religious man and had strong faith. David loved drinking coffee in the morning and watching the news.  He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles as well as fixing and working on them.  David was a family man and loved watching his kids play sports, and also coached his kids in their athletic events.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Alisha Deloera & husband, Tony, and Flisha Mehan; 2 sons, David Mehan, Jr. and Tristan Mehan; 9 grandchildren, Anthony, Adrian, Audalie, Jr., Izaak, Angel, Lorenzo, Aida, and Avalynn; 2 brothers, Charles “Chuck” Mehan, and Chris Mehan; 3 sisters, Margaret Mehan, Cathy Wood & husband, Steven, and Mary Faletto & husband, Steve; and his girlfriend, Tiffany Caudle.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Mehan; and his father, Ralph Mehan.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 1:30 PM-9:00 PM, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway in Moore, OK.  A Memorial Service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.

So sorry for your loss, David was a good friend of mine some 43 years he will be missed. I pray that God will lift all of you in this time of need . God bless all of you . RIP DAVID MEHAN

My condolences to the family. I haven't seen David in almost 30 years but we had reconnected on Facebook. He was always a lot of fun. Prayers and my condolences to the family.

Dear Mehan family .You may remember me? David and your Mom used to call me lil Daddy, I have broken bread with you all on many Sunday mornings back in the 80's . I moved away but kept in touch with Davey boy all these years. Please accept my sincere and heart felt condolences for the loss of your brother, and mine too. . R.I.P. Davey Boy.

Boy this is really hard for us dad.. We sure do miss you alot down here.. It sucks to say that it took this happening for our family to get close again, but you sure would b happy with how close were all getting ! We all went to lunch together, and had a awesome time together AS A FAMILY!! You would have loved it... Wellll im sure you really enjoyed looking down on all of us, and seeing us together.. Cause i kno you seen it.. I hope youre enjoying being with grandma and grandpa.. But just kno it feels different not having you here.. I sure miss being able to pick up the phone and being able to talk to you... I love you daddy!! So much. I promise im gonna make you proud !!!

Praying for the family! I went to were we got married today and I felt very peaceful at the time! ❤ I posted before but I don't see it,so just fly high Baby cakes,you will never be 4 gotten!
