Charles Arthur Blevins, of Oklahoma City, passed away September 5, 2017, at the age of 65. He was born November 8, 1951, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Rube Frank and Ellen (Tullis) Blevins.

Charles enjoyed watching professional wrestling, especially WWE and Smackdown. He also enjoyed working on cars and going to car auctions. Charles enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke, John Wayne movies and Open Range. He also enjoyed watching Hustle and Flow. Charles attended Central High School in Oklahoma City. Charles heard his country’s call and proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he received an Honorable Discharge for services rendered to his country when called upon to do so. Charles was owner and operator of the Blue Joker Wrecker Service, and he also did mechanic work. Charles had an outgoing personality with a witty sense of humor. He always had a good joke and he was a great story teller. Charles had a kind and loving heart and he would help anyone in need. His first love was his Lord and Savior, spending time with his wife, Teresa Elaine, his children, and friends, and especially his grandchildren.

Charles is survived by 3 daughters, Lisa Williams & husband, Chris, of Oklahoma City, Amanda Wilson, of Oklahoma City, and Robin Blevins, of Oklahoma City; 3 sons, Charles Blevins & wife, Marilyn, of Oklahoma City, Jason Blevins, of Sayre, Oklahoma, and Bobby Blevins, of Shawnee; 2 brothers, Gilbert Blevins, of Oklahoma City, and Alvin Blevins, of Oklahoma City; 2 sisters, Charlotte Jackson, of Oklahoma City, and Donna Blevins, of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Teresa Elaine Blevins; brothers, Wayne, Howard, Ruben, Frankie, Jimmie, Jackie, Bobby Don, and Emmett; sisters, Margie, Doris, Eva, Helen Ruth, Rebecca, and Christine.

Funeral Services for Charles will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 9, 2017, in the chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Interment will be at 1:00 PM, at Pocasset Cemetery, in Pocasset, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
